Punctuation Post over at Indies Unlimited

Great post on dashes! I’ve had an issue with dashes when converting my ebooks. Word does all kinds of tricky things if you aren’t watching it for a minute. I found my em dashes after ebook conversation, were going into weird symbols in my Kindle converted book, mobi files. So I changed it in word’s formatting so now all I get is – and – together instead of the solid line. I know it’s not correct, it does make the point I’m trying to make, but I really have to figure out how to get the solid dash so I don’t have to rely on the – and -.  Above is a great article on punctuation tips and uses.
